Gabriel Schneider
He, an enthusiastic dancer for years, took over the leadership in the year 1977 with the age of sixteen.
„The work with the youth is amazing and exciting. You are simply staying young. I feel that the dancers like it to come to the practice and I see that they are dancing wholeheartedly.“
He is one of the initiators and organizers of the International Folklore festival in the Sorbian Lusatia, which takes place every second year.

His dancing career began in the year 1964 at the Sorbian National Theatre in Bautzen.
1993, as he went into business for himself and started his dancing studio in Bautzen, he took over the art direction of the Sorbian Flk Dance Group Schmerlitz.
The group's beautiful dances are set by him.
